US appeals court lets Trump tariffs stay in place for now

( June 11, 2025, 00:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled that President Donald Trump's sweeping global tariffs under the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act can stay in place for now. A panel of judges said in the brief order that the case presents "issues of exceptional importance" and requires the full court to review it, adding that all justices should hear the case unless they qualify for recusal. The appeals court granted a full stay after an emergency request from the Trump administration was already approved late last month.Court order attached....
