Paramount-Skydance merger requires conditions, FUSE Media tells US FCC

( June 4, 2025, 16:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: FUSE Media Chief Executive Mike Roggerro and other representatives met with senior counsel to the US Federal Communications Commission chairman and acting Media Bureau chief last week, expressing concerns about the pending merger between Paramount and Skydance, according to a notice of ex parte. FUSE noted struggles with Paramount and urged the commission to condition the merger by "requiring a fixed percentage of programming on New Paramount’s streaming platforms for independent content providers, offered under fair, non-discriminatory prices, terms, and conditions."
