Sioux Erosion Control defendants ask US judge to delay bid-rigging trial

( June 3, 2025, 19:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Sioux Erosion Control, its part-owner BG Dale Biscoe and estimator Randall Shelton have asked an Oklahoma federal judge to delay the trial over the US Department of Justice's allegations that they conspired to fix prices and rig bids for erosion control products and services. The defendants asked the judge to move the matter to the October 2025 trial docket. In a joint motion, the defendants wrote that a continuance of trial "is necessary because (a) as a practical matter, the defendants will not be able to adequately prepare for trial by July 8, 2025 (b) discovery in this case has been unusually complex and challenging, and (c) although counsel has been provided three different copies of the government’s Cellebrite (cellphone) download, counsel with assistance from the government have not been able to open or extract the data from any of the copies."See attached file....
