Meta tells EU judges that Messenger's 'gatekeeper' designation 'ignores reality'

The European Commission defended its decision under the Digital Markets Act, saying Meta’s depiction was “untethered from reality” and Messenger was a separate app. The EU General Court explored the boundaries of what constitutes a "minor" and "ancillary" service.
