US DOJ requires divestitures in Keysight-Spirent deal to resolve antitrust concerns

( June 2, 2025, 18:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Justice said that it will require Keysight Technologies to divest Spirent Communications' high-speed ethernet testing, network security testing, and RF channel emulation businesses to resolve antitrust concerns arising from their proposed $1.5 billion merger. The DOJ's Antitrust Division filed a civil antitrust lawsuit in the US District Court for the District of Columbia to block the proposed transaction. At the same time, the division filed a proposed settlement that, if approved by the court, will resolve the DOJ's competitive concerns. Statement follows in full. ...
