EU considers potential tariff cuts in bid to secure trade deal with US

Such concessions might be part of a broader EU offer that will also include commitments to reducing non-tariff barriers, increasing purchases of US goods, tightening security cooperation, addressing China’s industrial overcapacities, and creating economic opportunities for US companies.
