Spain warned by EU Commission for meddling in BBVA-Sabadell deal

The commission, which has already started an informal dialogue, could resort to legal action if needed.A possible move by Spain to block or hamper BBVA's takeover of rival bank Sabadell is not regarded favorably by the European Commission, which could decide to counter it by the use of an infringement procedure, MLex has learned....
