EU GDPR procedural reform set for fresh round of negotiations

The new law was due to be passed yesterday night but didn’t end up getting finalized, due to issues over procedural deadlines and judicial remedies. While the European Commission thinks the current draft reflects middle ground, representatives from civil society and data protection authorities are still critical, a panel discussion today showed.
