Pause CBAM for aluminum, address rules' design flaws, industry urges

( May 22, 2025, 10:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The current design of the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism could accelerate carbon leakage in the aluminum sector, a study published by the European Aluminium Association said.
