Tipsport gets court backing in its challenge to Czech dawn raids

( May 23, 2025, 07:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Czech antitrust enforcer insufficiently documented an antitrust probe into betting agency Tipsport, the Czech Constitutional Court said, in response to the company's challenge to dawn raids carried out by the domestic competition authority. The Czech authority said that it respects the ruling, but added that the decision-making practice of administrative courts regarding the possibilities and limits of local probes is not entirely consistent and difficult to apply. However such probes are essential and often the only way to obtain evidence of illegal conduct, it said.
