Qantas, Virgin have capitalized on competition shortcomings, Australian regulator says

In a statement announcing the release of its latest Domestic Airline Competition Report, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Qantas and Virgin continue to dominate the domestic airline-passenger market, carrying 98.3 percent of passengers, with collapsed regional carrier Rex accounting for 1.7 percent.
