EU's consumer policy agenda 2025-30 open for public feedback

( May 19, 2025, 13:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The EU's policy agenda for consumers for 2025-30 has been published by the European Commission for public feedback today. The agenda for the next five years aims to "strengthen consumer protection, support consumers’ wellbeing, and promote a level playing field for businesses," the commission said. It will "develop a shared vision and common framework for consumer policy until 2030," the document reads. The consumer agenda will complement other initiatives such as the upcoming Digital Fairness Act, focusing on the online component of consumer law.
