Proposed Texas order on Constellation-Calpine deal would clear deal in state

( April 29, 2025, 17:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A proposed order clearing the Constellation-Calpine merger within the state of Texas has been submitted for the parties' review by Administrative Law Judge Isaac Ta of the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Ta determined that "after the transaction, Constellation and its affiliated entities will not own and control more than 20% of the installed generation capacity located in or capable of delivering electricity to the ERCOT region."See attached file....
