Nestle, Pinterest, others move for dismissal of X's US antitrust lawsuit

( May 15, 2025, 00:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary:  The World Federation of Advertisers, Nestle, Pinterest, Tyson Foods, Abbott Laboratories and other companies asked a Texas federal judge to dismiss X's lawsuit accusing them of participating in an illegal group boycott to withhold advertising revenue from the X platform. "X Corporation’s suit is an attempt to use the courthouse to win back the business X lost in the free market when it disrupted its own business and alienated many of its customers," the companies wrote in a brief in support of their joint motion-to-dismiss. "Its Second Amended Complaint does not allege a plausible conspiracy, does not allege an injury within the scope of antitrust law, and does not allege a harm to competition." Court documents attached. ...
