Fanatics files second US amended complaint against competitor Panini

( May 13, 2025, 18:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fanatics Collectibles has filed a second amended complaint against Panini seeking damages and other appropriate relief "in order to remedy Panini’s tortious interference with contractual business relations and tortious interference with prospective business relations." Panini previously filed US antitrust claims accusing Fanatics of illegally seeking to monopolize the markets for major US professional sports leagues trading cards. In its second amended complaint, Fanatics said the case "highlights the stark contrast between two competitors in the sports and entertainment collectibles industry: it pits Fanatics Collectibles, the innovative disruptor, against Panini, the stagnant, long-time incumbent with the antiquated business model."Second amended complaint attached....
