Valvoline to acquire Breeze Autocare from PE firm for $625 million in cash

( February 20, 2025, 14:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Valvoline said it will acquire Breeze Autocare from private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group for $625 million in cash. Valvoline operates about 2,000 auto maintenance and preventative care shops in North America. Breeze operates 200 automotive quick lube and preventative maintenance services in 17 US states. Valvoline's goal is to grown its network to 3,500-plus stores. The transaction is expected to close in the fiscal third quarter of 2025.
