Global AI experts chart roadmap for AI safety in Singapore-led consensus

It organizes research into three core areas: risk assessment, development of safe systems and post-deployment monitoring and control. The report was developed by an expert committee including leading AI researchers such as Yoshua Bengio, Max Tegmark, Stuart Russell and Dawn Song, with input from over 100 global contributors. Emphasizing areas of mutual interest across nations and sectors, the report aims to catalyze global cooperation on safety standards amid accelerating AI capabilities.
