AI copyright protections kept out of UK data bill as lawmakers prolong debate

But the Data (Use and Access) Bill will return to the House of the Lords, the legislature's upper chamber, next week where fresh amendments could be reinserted.The UK government has committed to publishing impact reports on policies proposed in its AI copyright consultation under the latest version of the data reform law, currently under scrutiny by lawmakers....
