Amplitude moves to compel arbitration in US privacy, hacking litigation over SDK

( April 8, 2025, 17:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Amplitude asked a federal judge in San Francisco to move to arbitration privacy, wiretapping and hacking litigation filed against its software development kit, saying that the plaintiffs agreed to arbitration to determine legal disputes when they agree to use the DoorDash app. "Because this case is about Plaintiffs’ use of the DoorDash app and whether they agreed to the collection and sharing of their information with service providers like Amplitude through DoorDash’s Privacy Policy (which is expressly incorporated into the T&C), the Court should compel Plaintiffs to arbitration and stay all proceedings," Amplitude argued.See attached document....
