Ericsson allowed to withdraw UPC claim against insolvent Digital River

( May 7, 2025, 11:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Milan Local Division of the Unified Patent Court has allowed Ericsson to withdraw its infringement actions against Digital River due to the latter’s insolvency, and permitted Digital River to withdraw its counterclaim for revocation. The court held that neither party was at fault for the withdrawals and ordered that each bear its own legal costs. The main infringement and revocation proceedings will continue against the remaining defendants, ASUSTek and Arvato. The case concerns Ericsson's European patent 3,076,673 and European patent 2,727,342.See UPC document attached....
