Samsung refusing to accept US jury findings in Epic v Google, Epic says

( May 1, 2025, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Samsung informed Epic Games that it wouldn't agree to adopt any of the jury findings in Epic's antitrust case against Google, Epic told a California federal judge in a joint status report. Epic filed a US complaint in September 2024 accusing Google and Samsung of conspiring to keep out competition for app distribution on Android phones, following its win against Google in a separate antitrust trial. Meanwhile, Samsung told the judge that Epic has proposed that Samsung "agree to apply here factual determinations made in a previous lawsuit to which Samsung was not a party and which does not fit the facts of this case."  Status report attached. ...
