Age verification app 'kids wallet' launched in Greece today

( May 5, 2025, 13:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An age verification tool called “kids wallet” was launched today in Greece as part of the national strategy to combat violence and juvenile delinquency, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said. The "kids wallet" is an app that allows parents to set limits or block their children's use of social media, the press release said. The wallet is part of a series of initiatives, including at European level, to curb online addiction among young people, Mitsotakis said in a press release.
