Connected cars pose privacy, security risks, key Australian official says

In a speech delivered today, Australian Privacy Commissioner Carly Kind said that where a car has been shared or sold, unless past users delete the data that has been gathered, they could face violations to their privacy. Kind also warned of the risks of car companies collecting voice-recognition data and on-selling it to AI-software training companies.
