Coupang indicted in South Korea for manipulating search rankings to favor own products

The prosecution indicted the e-commerce giant without detention on May 1. The indictment follows a 162.8 billion won (about $115.7 million) fine imposed last year by the Korea Fair Trade Commission for search-ranking manipulation and orchestrated employee-review schemes.
