USITC finds ferrosilicon imports from 3 countries harm domestic industry

( April 30, 2025, 17:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US International Trade Commission unanimously voted that domestic industry is materially injured by dumped and subsidized imports of ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan and Malaysia. The US Commerce Department last month found ferrosilicon imports from all three countries were dumped and subsidized, so antidumping and antisubsidy duties are incoming. USITC voted negative for critical circumstances, or a surge of subject imports following governmental reviews, for Brazil and Malaysia*, so retroactive duties will not be imposed on those countries. *Corrected on April 30, 2025 at 17:32 GMT: A previous version of this statement said there were no critical circumstances for all three countries.See attached file....
