Japan's latest merger-clearance list includes Bosch-Johnson Control, other deals

( April 30, 2025, 09:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The latest merger-clearance list published today by Japan's competition regulator includes German company Robert Bosch’s acquisition of the ventilation businesses of Johnson Controls and Hitachi, approved on March 27. According to the list, which now covers the January–March period, the Japan Fair Trade Commission also cleared the Synopsys-Ansys deal on March 13, and Nippon Life Insurance's proposed acquisition of US-based insurer Resolution Life Group Holdings on March 7.
