The Citizens’ Coalition for Scientific Society presented proposals in five categories: infrastructure, talent, ecosystem, governance and global. After determining that policy measures in recent years were either insufficient or inefficient, the CCSS proposed an overhaul of AI policies. It recommended sharply increasing investment plans to build national computing capabilities, establishing national institutes to educate AI experts and strengthening government agencies overseeing AI policies.
