Fontaine cleared to acquire New Caledonia's Espace Formations and Espace Surveillance

( April 30, 2025, 02:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Martinique-based facility-management company Groupe Fontaine has been cleared to acquire New Caledonia’s Espace Formations and Espace Surveillance. In a statement, the Autorité de la concurrence de la Nouvelle-Calédonie said it had found no overlaps between Fontaine and the two targeted companies and concluded that “all risks of a horizontal, vertical or conglomerate impact resulting from the transactions has been reasonably discarded.” The ACNC also said it had reviewed an anticompetitive clause that was part of the transaction but concluded that it wouldn’t amount to a direct restriction linked to the deal.The full statement from the Autorité de la concurrence de la Nouvelle-Calédonie, in French, follows: ...
