Irico files trial brief in cathode-ray-tube US price-fixing case
( April 28, 2025, 20:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Irico Group filed a trial brief in advance of a hearing next month to discuss the amount of damages the company should pay for its alleged role in a US conspiracy to fix the prices of cathode-ray-tube, or CRT, products. In its brief, Irico wrote that the direct purchaser plaintiffs and the indirect purchaser plaintiffs "present competing overcharge damages models" for the CRT products at issue: CDTs and CPTs. Since "the DPPs’ and IPPs’ models attempt to estimate the same overcharges but arrive at different estimates, the Court should choose one overcharge estimate for the CDT and CPT products at issue to avoid conflicting overcharge estimates."Trial brief attached. ...
