Misapplied GDPR rules are focus of EU Commission’s appeal to top court

The EU executive argues that the General Court misapplied data transfer “tests” under the GDPR, and misapplied its “non-material damage” requirement. Bindl is seeking annulment of the transfers, 800 euros in additional compensation, and legal costs. Summaries of appeals by both the European Commission and a German citizen were published this week, providing further insights into a case concerning data transfers to the US....
