Australian Sony antitrust lawsuit taps into UK court documents

By James Panichi ( April 29, 2025, 07:25 GMT | Insight) -- A class action targeting Sony Interactive Entertainment in Australia appears to be increasingly focused on a parallel lawsuit unfolding in the United Kingdom, with a Sydney judge ordering that the gaming giant’s correspondence used in the British case be provided to local litigants. In an order published by the Federal Court of Australia, Judge Cameron Moore told Sony to hand over a list of documents used in the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal,  where a class action is being led by consumer-rights advocate Alex Neill.
