In an announcement on its website, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that the updated FAQs provide general guidance and are designed to complement more detailed information found in the regulator’s draft merger assessment and process guidelines, the merger quick guide for businesses, and the Australian Treasury’s exposure draft of the 2025 Notification of Acquisitions Determination.
