US judge bars e-commerce takedowns in Best Bee Brothers trade dress suit

Best Bee sued Blazer for declaratory relief last month after Blazer claimed Best Bee’s designs infringed his trade dress following a previous patent infringement lawsuit between the parties.Brian Blazer and his company, Carpenter Bee Solutions, must withdraw their Amazon trade dress infringement takedown notices on bee trap listings by Best Bee Brothers, an Eastern District of Wisconsin judge ruled last week in granting Best Bee’s motion for a preliminary injunction. Best Bee sued Blazer for declaratory relief last month after Blazer began filing takedown requests with Amazon. Blazer filed counterclaims for trademark infringement after the ruling Friday....
