Boeing’s UV light patent application cleared by EPO Board of Appeal

By Inbar Preiss ( April 25, 2025, 12:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Patent Office's Technical Board of Appeal has reversed an earlier decision which had refused Boeing’s patent application for a UV light source method, finding the method sufficiently disclosed. The board concluded that a skilled person could adjust the method as needed to achieve the desired result. The case has been remitted to the Examining Division for further review of other patentability requirements.See EPO document attached....
