Apple mobile-game ‘loot boxes’ case referral to EU’s top court published

The Antwerp Enterprise Court asks whether the EU e-commerce rules apply to gambling-related apps, and how “gambling activities” should be defined. It also questions whether apps on platforms such as the App Store qualify as “information” under EU law, affecting Apple's liability.
