China unveils new trade secret protection rules for public consultation

The new rules will replace the regulations on prohibiting the misappropriation of trade secrets that came into effect in 1995. The revisions aim to facilitate the implementation of the higher-level Anti-Unfair Competition Law and provide feasible and clearer guidance for business operators and market-supervision departments, SAMR said in a statement.
