US SEC continues to try to serve Adanis in bribery case

( April 25, 2025, 20:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Securities and Exchange Commission said in a status report that the agency is continuing its efforts to serve Indian billionaire Gautam Adani and his nephew, Sagar Adani, in its lawsuit alleging that they violated the antifraud provisions of the securities laws by making misleading representations concerning a renewable energy unit of the Adani Group. The SEC has tried serving them through a request to the Indian authorities and by locating counsel of Gautam Adani, the filing said. Document attached....
