ENI awarded GBP2 billion for carbon capture and storage project in the UK

The sum will finance supply chain contracts to begin the site's construction. Announced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the Summit on the Future of Energy Security, the project is meant to create more than 2,000 new jobs, decarbonize industries and further develop CCS technologies to make them market competitive.
