UPC grants injunction to Seoul Viosys over LED patent infringement

The court limited the injunction only to French territory because the only substantiated evidence of infringement was linked exclusively to France.The Unified Patent Court has issued a permanent injunction in favor of Korean LED chipmaker Seoul Viosys against French distributor Laser Components and Korean manufacturer Photon Wave. The ruling is enforceable in France, although Seoul Viosys had asked for measures in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom....
