Independent accountants don't need guild, French Polynesian antitrust watchdog says

In its study examining the proposal, the Autorité polynésienne de la concurrence recommended against establishing an order of independent accountants to operate alongside the existing order of chartered accountants, saying it would lead to confusion in the minds of clients about the two guilds’ respective goals.
