Google shouldn't be broken up, but consumers should have choice, Perplexity says

In a blog post, Perplexity said that for consumers, even when they have a choice "it's still a frustrating experience." Google's pet soundbite in interviews and testimony that "the competition is just 1 click away" is far from the reality that the option to change a default search engine on an Android device is hidden in settings 4-5 clicks away from the home screen.
