Nike wins partial summary judgment against counterfeit sneaker influencer

The judge also granted a permanent injunction to be enforced at the end of the case. The decision marks a win for the company, though its $18 million damage demand continues to trial.Nike’s allegations against Eben Fox as the head of a counterfeit sneaker scheme are sufficient to grant summary judgment on some trademark claims, but the company could not prove actual consumer confusion, a Middle District of Florida judge ruled Monday....
