Ellektor, Gek Terna, Reggeborgh get antitrust duties in Greek construction probe

( April 23, 2025, 11:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Companies Ellektor and Gek Terna will have to notify Greece's antitrust regulator of any stake acquisition exceeding 5 percent in the share capital of a competitor under certain circumstances, according to the latest update today to a sector inquiry opened by the Hellenic Competition Commission in 2021 into the construction industry. The companies will also have to implement Chinese walls to prevent any disclosure of commercially sensitive data between them in the construction project sub-market and the project concession sub-market in which a common shareholder is present holding a share capital of more than 5 percent in each business.
