LG New Zealand managers plead guilty to criminal charges linked to antitrust probe

( April 23, 2025, 02:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The former New Zealand country manager of South Korean electronics giant LG and two senior managers have pleaded guilty to criminal charges relating to the destruction of documents following inquiries by the antitrust watchdog. In a statement, the New Zealand Commerce Commission said that, following assessments of the individual circumstances of Dowan Kim and two managers, they were all discharged without conviction. The Commerce Commission filed criminal charges after evidence that Kim had instructed Nicholas Clarke and another unnamed employee to delete WhatsApp messages with an offshore manager.
