Big Bus says NY AG findings on consumer harm in monopoly suit 'demonstrably false'

( April 17, 2025, 16:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Big Bus said a recent press release by the New York Attorney General, as part of a monopoly suit alleging the company conspired to pressure major tour attractions to refuse to enter into trade partner agreements with Go New York, is "irresponsible." In a statement, Big Bus said the press release is also "rife with mischaracterizations, inaccuracies" and is unsupported by facts. "Big Bus agreed to resolve the AG’s investigation only to avoid the further needless diversion of resources and business attention — allowing it to instead focus on its core mission: providing world-class tourism experiences for its customers," the statement said. Big Bus said it categorically rejects the "so-called findings" including those concerning potential harm to customers and competition, which are "demonstrably false."Full statement follows....
