EU GDPR procedural reform draft makes 'things worse,' NGO Noyb says

( April 17, 2025, 08:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The current GDPR procedural reform draft, which is being negotiated by the EU Parliament, the bloc's member states and the European Commission, is facing criticism from the privacy rights organization Noyb and its chair Max Schrems. The current plans "will likely make procedures more complex, slower and prone to legal challenges," the press release says. The plans won't improve and, instead, will "diminish enforcement of the GDPR," it adds.  Statement follows....
