REX petition for US rehearing en banc for Zillow, NAR case denied

( April 16, 2025, 18:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Real Estate Exchange's request for a rehearing en banc at the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in its antitrust case against Zillow and the National Association of Realtors has been denied. An order issued by the Ninth Circuit today said US Circuit Judges Daniel Bress and Ana de Alba voted to deny REX's petition for rehearing en banc and Circuit Judge Judge S.R. Thomas "has so recommended." The order said the "full court has been advised of the petition for rehearing en banc, and no judge has requested a vote on whether to rehear the matter en banc." In the case, REX challenged NAR's "no-commingling rule" or "segregation rule" over real estate listings. Court document attached. ...
