AT&T must face ‘Twinning Solution’ joint inventorship challenge, US judge says

In a decision unsealed yesterday, a New York judge said AT&T must face claims by Kyle Schei and John Wantz that they were wrongly denied credit for a patent which they say discloses their “Twinning Solution” — a feature that allow users to make and receive calls from different devices but with the same telephone number. The duo are the current owners of Network Apps and founders of Mya Number, a now-defunct telecom startup which, for a brief time, partnered with AT&T.In a newly unsealed decision, a New York federal judge has again denied dismissal of a bid for correction of inventorship leveled against AT&T Mobility....
