Australian apparel business Hard Rock admits to resale-price maintenance

( April 16, 2025, 01:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australian apparel business Hard Rock has admitted to resale-price maintenance in a court-enforceable undertaking, the country’s competition regulator said. In a statement today, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that between June and September 2024, Hard Rock required at least 10 resellers to not sell the company’s products below 10 percent off its recommended retail price. The statement added that the company also threatened to alter pricing or stop supply to non-compliant resellers.
