In a statement, the Autorité de la concurrence de la Nouvelle-Calédonie said that Aircalin had put forward plans to review the airline's relationship with local travel agents and to create a new payment mechanism based on a fixed component paid via a “billing settlement plan,” with the possibility of introducing an incentive-based component to promote competition.
